There's far more to a website than whether it looks good or not. Website design needs to pay attention to the whole, ensuring that all pages are easy to find through a logical structure. Ensuring that key information is presented clearly, that the page isn't overcrowded, is at least as important as the choice of images, colours & fonts.
Beyond that, there is little point in having a pretty website if no one can find you. That is where I have sold myself for over fifteen years. As the web has grown and grown, it has become harder, but the majority of my clients websites do really well in the search engines, and that is not down to chance.
My strengths really come from the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation), the bespoke back end development and really well put together, clean code. The Graphics is my weaker bow string. So, I may pass this part on to some clever graphic designers that keep up with current trends, and we would get an initial outline design together, for you to critique. Once you are happy with the general look, I start, I build the back end, fully responsive, clean code, optimised for both search engines and speed. Every T is crossed, every I is dotted. I have a checklist for every website.
There is a lot more I could mention here, but I don't want to give the opposition too many tips. Hmm, but as an example .. I will spell check your pages before they go live .. and you would be surprised how designers don't!
I will look to you to provide the initial text content, after all, you know your businesses far better than I do. But then I will work with this and use it to sell your website, and your products or services to Google's algorithms.

I don't doubt it is very easy to use, that it is user friendly, and it's probably okay if you don't mind your site looking just like the hundreds of others that use the same template. It's probably fine if you have no competition, or don't mind where you rank in the search engines. I've write my own CMS systems, adjusted for your needs, I imagine it will be a little less user friendly than the likes of WordPress, but I think, better coded for security and Search Engine performance.
